Course Overview

£140.00 per week

40 hours per week Monday to Friday (plus overtime when necessary)

What Qualifications Or Experience Do I Need?
Some joinery qualifications would be useful but not essential. Also, GCSEs Grade D or above (or equivalent) in English and maths would be an advantage.

Skills required:
• Some basic joinery knowledge
• Driving licence preferred but not essential

Personal qualities:
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good time keeper
• Conscientious worker
• Eye for detail

Aspects Of Job Role
The successful candidate will assist and give support to experienced joiners in the workshop, manufacturing high end perfumery furniture, with the ultimate goal of progressing to become an experienced joiner. Duties/responsibilities will include:
• Loading/unloading CNC machine
• Machining and assembling drawers/drawer fronts
• Machining and assembling basic cupboard carcasses
• Machining and assembling basic plinths
• Assist and give support to experienced joiners with the manufacture of high end perfumery furniture
• Ability to work under pressure and work to a tight deadline
• Good at timekeeping
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team

The role will include some installation work away from ADL as part of a fitting team
