£136.00 per week (plus the possibility of paid overtime)
40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)
Flexibility is required as occasionally you will need to work paid overtime to leave the installation in a safe state or to adhere to the customer’s satisfaction.

GCSEs Grade C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths are required.

On Site Service (UK) Ltd is an electrical company based in Leicester. They carry out fault finding and repair work at customers’ premises (inside and outside) or within their workshop on various industrial and commercial machines. They also install and test systems, emergency lighting, etc, and carry out Portable Appliance Testing and repair.

Aspects Of Job Role
Whilst undergoing training, your main duties will be to assist the engineer you are working with. At first, this may be just shadowing, progressing to fetching and carrying and eventually undertaking tasks under supervision.
There may be a requirement to order components from suppliers, collect and deliver to site, ensuring the appropriate paperwork is completed.
When you are deemed competent, you will be given the opportunity to work as part of a team and also on your own. As your knowledge, understanding, competence and confidence grow, you will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical/mechanical projects. You will be required to fill in a diary and job sheet to enable invoices to be raised.
The majority of sites the company works on are within a 50 mile radius of Leicester. However, you will be expected to travel further as and when the need arises.
